I would recommend it to everyone to volunteer in Nakuru Baby Orphanage. You can picture the poverty through reading about it, but then only a fraction of it. You see it when you actually go to a third world country.  It is a good learning experience, and makes you very thankful for what you have here at home.  
As for the orphanage, Ivan and Mary really made us feel welcome and at home. It's impossible not to fall in love with the children,  and it is soo hard to leave them! 
I wish I could have taken them home.  
I would go back tommorow if it were possible, but if i can never go back, I'll always have special memories of my visit in Kenya.
